The multi-awarded and internationally acclaimed architecture and landscape photographer Erieta Attali returns to the Byzantine and Christian Museum twenty-five years later, showcasing a series of fifteen works from her collaboration with the great Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
The exhibition focuses on Kengo Kuma’s wooden architectural works, located from the most remote parts of Japan to the city centre of Paris.
Erieta Attali’s images capture the essence of her approach to architecture and photography, as complementary experiences.

Through its work and its participation and as part the actions of the Academy of Culture, EPIKYKLOS supported the photograph exhibition as well as the opening night, which important people from the field of architecture and photography graced with their presence.
Erieta Attali (born in Tel Aviv, Greek-Israeli) is an architecture and landscape photographer, with photographic work expanding from Eurasia to Australia and the Americas. She has won the German Photobook Award 19|20 with her photographic monograph “Periphery | Archeology of Light” published by Hatje Cantz, Berlin. Her photographs have been exhibited in important museums around the world. In her thirty-year career, she has devoted herself to the interaction between architecture and landscape, opening new paths in her art.
The photographic exhibition entitled “Woodscapes | Erieta Attali on Kengo Kuma” will remain at the Byzantine & Christian Museum until October 31, 2023.
