Massimiliano Fuksas has been one of the main protagonists of the contemporary architectural scene since the 80s and today he is one of the most important figures in global culture. He has been honored with numerous awards and international recognitions. He has been a Member of important Organizations, Academies and Committees. His contribution to culture has earned him several medals and awards. As Guest Professor he has taught at many prestigious Universities such as Columbia University in New York, the École Special School of Architecture in Paris, the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna and the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart. The “Studio Fuksas” office is one of the most distinguished, international architectural offices. For 50 years he has shaped his own innovative approach through a wide range of projects, from urban interventions to airports, from museums to cultural centers and concert venues, from conference rooms to offices, from interiors to design objects. With headquarters in Rome, Paris, Shenzhen and Dubai, “Studio Fuksas” has completed over 600 projects in Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Australia and has won many international architectural awards. The work of Massimiliano Fuksas is included in the most reputable books on architecture internationally and is taught in all Schools of Architecture worldwide.
