An abandoned concrete structure that was initially developed to house a residential project transform into a boutique hospitality
The goal of the architect, Angeles Mira, was to give the building a Spanish, Mediterranean and Latin soul at the same time. The central and emblematic element of the venue is the special staircase which comprises the axis of the whole building and is an ornament of the work, inspired from a Spanish guitar — which connects the impressive reception with the upper floors, where teaching halls and the children’s library are hosted. A work of increased technical difficulty, because of the building’s age and the high requirements of the design, which became a meeting point for the Spanish-speaking community.
