Angeles Mira has been working as Head architect in different international offices such as Carlos Manzano in Madrid, Rockwell group in New York and Urko Sanchez in Lamu- Kenya.
She graduated as an architect with distinction from School of Architecture Madrid, in 1998.
In 2011, She founded Angeles Mira Architecture Office in Athens, passionate about landscape integrated architecture, fine materials and textures. She is been playing with vernacular building techniques to create modern spaces.
Highlighting the residential project Kaliva, Kithnos-Stone-House and Fokianos Sports Park, among others.
The most recent work has been Athens Cervantes Institute, the refurbishment of a heritage building in the center of Athens.
Parallel with the architectural practice, she has worked in numerous cultural projects including experimental architecture, visual art exhibitions and art productions, such as, Almodovar Films, Athens Festival and ARCO (annual spanish modern art exhibition).
