EPIKYKLOS undertook the complete renovation of a two-level 130 sq. m. detached house in Voula, with an additional 70 sq. m. of auxiliary spaces in the basement. The property, which is part of a small residential complex, was transformed into a modern, comfortable, and functional home for a young couple.
Based on the original architectural study by ARCORE engineers, we kept the overall design rationale intact while applying adjustments to specific spaces—mainly on the ground floor—so the outcome would accurately reflect the needs and lifestyle of the new owners.
A whole new kitchen was created, the fireplace-TV composition was completely remodeled, and a discreet WC was added behind the kitchen, providing comfort without disrupting the space’s aesthetic clarity.
The first level and basement renovations followed the original study with some targeted modifications, while EPIKYKLOS also selected all the materials to secure the space’s coherence and warmth. The pre-existing wooden floor was preserved, reinforced, and maintained to seamlessly blend with the house’s new look and feel.
The renovation included the full upgrade of the electrical and plumbing systems; the replacement of window frames with new thermal break systems; the installation of new internal doors; and the remodelling of all bathrooms. A new glass railing was installed on the staircase, and external thermal insulation was installed around the building. Finally, interiors and exteriors were painted.
The result is a residence with modern aesthetics, high energy efficiency, and lasting construction quality, a renovation that creates real value for the new owners.
