EPIKYKLOS is a creative partner to the “100 years of architecture in Greece in 100 buildings" exhibition

As part of its cultural activities, EPIKYKLOS has participated in setting up the “100 years of architecture in Greece in 100 buildings (1924-2024)” exhibition, an event with huge historical and architectural interest, both for professionals and the public.

The inspiration for this unique event was a publication of the same name, published by GRAD review and edited by Manolis Anastasakis. The book presents the development of architecture in Greece over the last 100 years through 100 select buildings with an emphasis on the historical, social, and cultural context of each period. Next to the presentation, the book also contains seven articles by distinguished professors and researchers.

The exhibition, which was curated by Professor Panagiotis Pangalos, was launched on Wednesday, February 5, in a closed-door event at the Book Tower area in the National Library of Greece at the SNFCC. The opening was exclusive to the contributors, a group of acclaimed speakers, and several guests from the world of arts and letters.

The exhibition will remain open until Sunday, February 9.

Citylab organized the exhibition in collaboration with the National Library of Greece and GRAD review, with exclusive sponsorship by Avax Group and the support of the University of West Attica and The Athenian’s Association.

EPIKYKLOS had the special honor of contributing to the organization as Citylab’s Creative Partner.
