EPIKYKLOS at the 2023-24 Europe 40 Under 40® Awards ceremony

On Friday, December 6, we had the honor of participating in an event of major importance for the architectural sector, but also for all of us at EPIKYKLOS. The reason is that the event was dedicated to the best young European architects, who have already distinguished themselves thanks to their fresh viewpoints and innovative ideas. 

As a construction firm, we put much value on our cooperation with the architects working on our projects and we always search for young, restless, and creative minds whose vision will enhance our own. So it was with great joy that we found ourselves at the European Centre/Contemporary Space Athens in Plaka with other prominent guests, where we watched the awards ceremony for the 2023-24 Europe 40 Under 40® Awards winners and exchanged thoughts and opinions with them. 

During the event, Andriani Panou-Papatheodorou, our Head Architect & Deputy Managing Director, gave a speech as a Special Guest about four flagship projects by EPIKYKLOS. Those are the Urband, Vital Blue, Purenest, and Cultures residential buildings, which were based on architectural designs of the highest standards focused on innovation, sustainability, and the needs of modern living. 

Closing her speech, Ms. Panou-Papatheodorou spoke about the vision of EPIKYKLOS and revealed the upcoming (around early 2025) introduction of a new way of living that redefines the relationship between residents and their space. 

The night’s speakers included Elena Sbokou, Executive Editor of Global Design News, Ioannis Karalias, President of the European Centre for Architecture Art and Urban Studies, Konstantina Geladaki, Program Manager of the Europe 40 Under 40® Awards, and Dr. Peter Kuczia, founder of KUCZIA architects and member of the awards committee. 

Besides the awards ceremony, the event also marked the opening of the “40 Young European Architects with New Visions” exhibition, presenting the exceptional work of the 40 awarded architects. 

The high-profile exhibition, which is free for the public and will last until January 26, presents a unique opportunity for everyone who plays an active part in shaping our buildings and cities.
